Successful December Vino Valencia Wine Night

Hopefully you enjoyed the December edition of the Vino Valencia Wine Night as much as we did!

Of course we want to thank everyone who came for making it yet again a successful event!

The sponsoring wineries this month were Castell dels Sorells with their Cava Brut 2006, Bodegas Sánchez Zahonero with the L’Essència 2006 and Bodegas Primitivo Quiles with their Raspay 2003.

Eddie and the rest of the Tahine team came up with great tapas creations to match the wines: the Cava was paired with a ball of foie sprinkled with “space dust”, the L’Essència was matched with tuna tartar and with the Raspay they served a langoustine on a stick prepared live at the table with Eddie’s signature burners.

This event we introduced the Vino Valencia tasting notes card! From now on everyone who comes to our events will receive this card together with a pen to be able to scribble down some notes of the wines we serve during the events. With this we hope to get a bit more interactivity on our website as you can add your own tasting notes to the wines!
Simply go to the page of the wines, pick the wines you made notes of and add your notes at the bottom.

Next month which will also be the New Year we will be back at Tahine for another Vino Valencia Wine Night!
