Bodegas Torroja has its origins from the old cellar of the Garcia family from 1910 and has spread its business over several generations.
Currently, the winery has expanded and modernized, allowing them to offer to their customers, wines with an high level of quality.
Their commitment to local values of the land has led them to develop their best wines.
The quality of their wines has been recognized with several awards in international competitions such as the Brussels World Competition, Challenge du Vin, Bacchus, Decanter.
Bodegas Torroja S.L. mainly produce quality wines, with D.O. Utiel-Requena and D.O. Valencia.
A selection of the best grapes is used to produce their main wines. These grapes are selected from the vineyards and from different suppliers with extensive experience in the sector. Grapes mainly used are: Bobal, local grape from Utiel-Requena area, very interesting for red and rosé wines; Tardana, they are pioneers and still the only winery bottling 100% Tardana as premium quality wines; Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
