Merlot Reserva 2004 is a wine with body and structure; the varieties used is 100% Merlot with 14 months 14 month in French and American oak barrels.
Merlot is a noble grape perfectly adapted to the region Fontanars dels Alforins, thanks to the chilly nights, constant foggy mornings in August and an intense heat at midday permits a perfect ripenind process. A velvety wine, wide in the mouth, completely varietal.
The ideal serving temperature is 16ºC.

Appearance: High intensity, deep cherry colour.
Nose: High intensity, deep cherry colour.
Palate: Balanced, tasty, beefy in the mouth, highly structured .
Mesclat food thoughts: Horse steak tartare with capers, pickles and onions on a potato chip.
Appearance: Very deep cherry, very long legs,
Nose: Full of mature red fruit, intense spicy, peppery,vanilla.
Palate: Intense, meaty, warm mature red fruit and plum jam, smooth tannins very nicely structured wine. Worked well with steak tartare and later with beefburgers.Too full to drink on its own.
